The Environmental Quality Board voted to accept a rule-making petition, supported by the Widener Commonwealth Environmental Law and Sustainability Center, to create a Cap-And-Trade Program for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Pennsylvania for evaluation. Commonwealth Professor of Environmental Law and Sustainability John Dernbach, one of the petitioners, is quoted. A similar story appeared in PA Environment Digest Blog and WITF.

6ABC sportscaster Ducis Rodgers, a member of the Communication Studies Advisory Board, was on campus yesterday working with Widener communications students in the studio playing the part of game show host for “Widener Brain Games” and offering industry advice and insight.
