After the state board voted to allow further study of a citizen led climate change petition, John Dernbach, Commonwealth Professor of Environmental Law and Sustainability, reinforces the importance of the petition and the state’s responsibility to act. Dernbach, along with Columbia Law Professor Michael Gerrard, outline more than 1,000 solutions to climate change in their new book “Legal Pathways to Deep Decarbonization in the United States,” according to Energy News Network.
