Xiaochao Tang, a professor of engineering, is the principal investigator for one of the 21 teams of undergraduate and graduate students that were awarded more than $300,000 in funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced through its People, Prosperity, and the Planet (P3) grants program.
