Yesterday’s paper mentioned the 10 year anniversary of a deal approved by Chester City Council that allowed Widener and Crozer-Keystone Health to jointly establish a police substation at the new University Crossings development on Providence Road, and to pay for two new police officers to patrol the surrounding neighborhood.

Dimple Gandevia and Louie Orth are the latest recipients of the Widener Presidential Scholarship. Both students, currently enrolled at North Montco Technical Career Center in Lansdale, will attend Widener in the fall 2019 to study robotics engineering.
