  • MAC Hall of Fame class of 2018 announced – Go MAC Sports (5/1 – Widener Athletic Director, Football and Track & Field coach George Hansell, Jr. was inducted into the class of 2018 MAC Hall of Fame)
  • Bucks and Montgomery counties student achievers for May 2 – Bucks County Courier Times (5/2 – Widener students are recognized for their recent achievements including Olivia Krawtchuk for her induction into Phi Kappa Phi honor society and Herbert Schulze for placing third with his team in the Collegiate Leadership Competition)
